Lithos Partners is a digital workplace and communications consultancy founded in 2016. We help organisations design effective internal communications, build SharePoint and Viva intranets, and create engaging employee experiences across Microsoft 365. We work from Bristol, London and Amsterdam with clients across sectors and geographies.

Sharon O’Dea
Co-founder / Principal
Consultant, speaker and author specialising in digital workplace strategy and internal communications. Sharon helps complex organisations align strategy, content, governance and platform capabilities to improve how work gets done. She’s got extensive experience in regulated sectors including financial services, as well as government and commercial clients.
Jonathan Phillips
Co-founder / Principal
Consultant , speaker and advisor on digital communications and collaboration, with experience leading distributed teams and large‑scale internal comms programmes in FMCG, corporate and not-for-profit sectors.

Our origin story
Lithos Partners
Our name comes from lithification—the geological process by which loose sediment becomes solid rock. Over time, layers of mud, sand and silt accumulate. Add pressure, and they compact into something strong. One of our founders trained as a geologist, and we saw a clear parallel.
In long‑established organisations, layers of history, culture, systems, mergers and regulation settle over time. Pressures—from markets, leadership changes or compliance—compact them into the structures we see today.
At Lithos Partners, we specialise in helping organisations succeed in these layered environments: uncovering how work really happens, aligning tools and content, and designing digital communications and workplaces that are coherent, connected and ready for what’s next.
